EVENTS & ACTIVITIES COMMITTEE

Now Seeking Volunteers: Events & Activities Committee

Ravensway is fortunate to have many recreational facilities and a large clubhouse, and we’re excited to expand how often—and in what ways—these shared spaces are used for community-wide events and activities. This resident-led committee will take the lead in planning and coordinating events throughout the year, including holiday celebrations, family activities, recreational programs, and new opportunities that bring neighbors together.

The best community events come from collaboration. Every committee member will have a voice, and new ideas are encouraged. The Committee will also welcome suggestions from residents and encourage neighbors who are willing to share their talents, volunteer their time, and help turn great ideas into memorable community experiences.

Whether you enjoy organizing, decorating, coordinating volunteers, managing logistics, promoting events, or simply lending a helping hand, we’d love to have you involved. Prior experience isn’t required—just enthusiasm for building a stronger community.

Committee responsibilities include:

Planning community events and activities

Developing new programs while supporting favorite community traditions

Recruiting and coordinating volunteers

Working with vendors and community partners

Promoting events and encouraging resident participation

Evaluating completed events and recommending improvements

Coordinating with the Facilities Coordinator on logistics, scheduling, and operational support

📌 Interested in serving?

Please complete THIS FORM if you’re interested in joining the Events & Activities Committee.

Not interested in serving on the Committee but still want to help? Once the Committee is established, it will be building a list of residents interested in volunteering for specific events or sharing special skills and talents. Whether you can spare a few hours once a year or want to help with a particular event, there’s a place for you.

We look forward to building a committee that reflects the creativity, collaboration, and community spirit that make Ravensway a great place to live.

Volunteer for Accessibility Planning & Advisory Committee

Help Shape a More Accessible Community

The Ravensway/Saracen Park Homeowners Association is seeking volunteers to serve on our new Accessibility Planning & Advisory Committee.

Our community has recently completed a professional accessibility assessment of our common areas and amenities. Now comes the important next step: developing a thoughtful, practical plan for improving accessibility throughout the community.

We are looking for homeowners who want to be part of that conversation.

Whether you have professional experience in construction, engineering, architecture, facilities management, accessibility, finance, or project planning—or simply have a passion for or personal interest in making our community more welcoming and accessible for everyone—we encourage you to apply.

The committee will review assessment findings, discuss priorities, consider budget implications, and provide recommendations to the Board of Directors regarding future accessibility improvements. This is an opportunity to help shape projects that could benefit residents for years to come.

Committee members will have the opportunity to:

  • Review professional accessibility recommendations
  • Help identify priorities for implementation
  • Consider practical and financial factors affecting projects
  • Provide valuable resident perspectives
  • Contribute to long-term planning for our community amenities

Because the committee may discuss budgetary considerations and financial planning, participation is limited to current members of the Association.

Creating a more accessible community is not just about compliance—it’s about ensuring that all residents, guests, friends, and family members can enjoy the amenities and common areas that make Ravensway/Saracen Park special.

If you are interested in serving on the Accessibility Planning & Advisory Committee, we encourage you to COMPLETE THIS FORM and share how you can contribute to this important effort.

We look forward to hearing from you and working together to build a community that is welcoming and accessible for all.

more info coming soon!

stay tuned for more ways to serve the Ravensway community!
